Cupertino- The Ohlone swim team was one of six teams at the DeAnza Invite Meet on Friday February 28th. They continue to see favorable results as the team finishes off February strong
 
Highlights from the meet include the Men's 400 yard medley relay, 7 swims from sophomore Kato Tien, 6 swims from sophomore Teagan Rees and 6 swims from freshman Junia Aristo Reyes
 
The Men's 400 Medley Relay finished first with a final time of 3:48.29. The relay started off with Freshman Ryin Ruaboro with a split of 1:00.79 for backstroke followed by freshman Ray Cillo with a split of 59:75 for breaststroke followed by sophomore Moataz Bayoumi with a split of 56:14, anchored by Freshman swimmer Ryan Prathnadi with a split of 51:61 for freestyle
 
Kato Tien was a trooper and swam 7 events, including the 200 & 400 Medley relays and both the 200 & 400 Free relays. He also swam 3 individual events, placing top 10 for 50 free with a time of 25:04. He also swam the 100 freestyle with a final time of 58:00 flat, ranking 7th overall. His last event was the 100 breast where his final time was 1:17.92. 
 
Teagan Rees swam 6 events, including the 200 & 400 Medley relays and both the 200 & 400 Free relays. She swam two individual events, placing second in the 200 breast with a final time of 2:54.20. She also swam the 500 free placing 3rd with a final time of 6:32.81. 
 
Junia also swam 6 events, including the 200 & 400 Medley relays and both the 200 & 400 Free relays. Ohlone's women relays placed 3rd consecutively for all 4 relays. She swam two individual events, ranking top 20 in the 50 free with a final time of 36:81. She also swam 100 backstroke, placing in the top 10 with a final time of 1:45.64.
