Ohlone Men's Basketball Clinches Home Playoff Game
The Ohlone College Men's Basketball Team 18-10 (7-7) began the season with an electric 8-0 start and am 11-3 nonconference record that landed them 22nd in the State Rankings. Ohlone remained ranked throughout the season where they went 7-7 and tied for 3rd place in the toughest conference in the state, the Coast-North.
The Renegades are led by first-year head coach Jordan Lee and his assistant coaches Nate Millheim and Terrence Broussard. As one of the youngest teams in the state, they play with only three sophomores in Josh Niusulu, Jayelen Jones, and JP Patague. Their veteranship is supported by a stellar group of freshmen of Jonathan Powell, Matt Villanueva, Jude Jennings, Khalid Elmi, Ryan Unkelbach, Nebiyu Teklemariam, and Michael Fastion.
Ohlone College now prepares for its first playoff game in five years when they host the Butte College Roadrunners on Wednesday February 22 at 7 PM.
