OHLONE COLLEGE RENEGADES GEAR UP FOR AN EXCITING FALL 2026 ATHLETICS SEASON

FREMONT, CA — July 7, 2026 — The Ohlone College Athletics department is thrilled to welcome a new year of Renegade Athletics, officially announcing the kickoff of the Fall 2026 sports season. As our student-athletes prepare to take the court, field, and pool, the campus is buzzing with anticipation to see the forest green and vegas gold back in action.

This fall, the Renegades will field highly competitive rosters across four dynamic programs in the Coast Conference: Women's Volleyball, Men's Soccer, Women's Soccer, and Men's Water Polo (Women's Water Polo to return 2027).

  • Women's Volleyball: Following a strong showing last year, the Renegades are returning to the court with dominant energy. The team has been training rigorously to command the net and bring fast-paced, high-level competition to every match this season.

  • Men's Soccer: Aiming higher in 2026 after a major breakthrough season last year, the Men's Soccer program is bringing renewed focus and tactical precision to the pitch. The squad is primed to build upon their recent successes and push for the top of the conference standings.

  • Women's Soccer: With a versatile and talented roster, the Women's Soccer team is ready to showcase their teamwork and endurance. Fans can expect an aggressive, highly competitive style of play as they defend their home turf.

  • Men's Water Polo: Ready to make waves, the Men's Water Polo team enters the 2026 season with relentless conditioning and strategic depth. The Renegades are prepared for a rigorous schedule and look forward to defending their home pool.

"Our student-athletes and coaching staff have dedicated their off-season to preparation, conditioning, and team-building," said Chris Warden, Academic Dean of Kinesiology, Athletics, and Performing Arts. "We are incredibly proud of the resilience and commitment these young men and women show both in their respective sports and in the classroom. We invite the entire Fremont community to come out, fill the Fan Zone, and support our Renegades."
