Heading into the 2019 Fall Season, the Renegades were coming off their first postseason appearance the program's past 20 years. Expectations heading into the season were sky high, with hopes of another appearance at the CCCAA NorCal Regionals and potentially their first ever appearance at CCCAA State Championships.
This offseason, Ohlone welcomed 4 Freshman to their recruiting class: Matthew Mendez (Washington HS), Shane Herup (Washington HS), Oliver Sullivan (Irvington HS), and Goalie, Isaac Diltz (James Logan HS). In addition, the Renegades welcomed back Sophomores: Xander Pereira, James Larson, Jeffrey Jones, Nathan Clark (First-Team All-Conference 2018), and Aiden McBride (First-Team All-Conference 2018 & 2018 All-American). Additionally, the Renegades welcomed back Alumni, Elias Mendez to assist the program.
The Renegades enjoyed a successful opening weekend at home, at their 1st Annual Joe Martinez Memorial Tournament, finishing 2-1, with wins over Ventura (18-12) and De Anza College (19-11). After their 2-1 start, competition got tougher for the Renegades, dropping 5 of their next 6 games at the Nyquist Tournament at West Valley.
Ohlone finished the month of September strong, playing a tight game against Diablo Valley College, Northern California's current #1 seed, losing 11-8. Following their game against DVC, Ohlone bounced back, beating American River College in overtime 14-13, before losing a nail biter on a last second penalty call to West Valley, 8-9.
The month of October was a fun one for the Renegades, who got off to a 4-0 start to begin the month, defeating De Anza and Cabrillo College in Conference play. In addition to a hot start in October, the Ohlone Men travelled to Mattos Elementary School, where they read to a classroom full of energetic 4th graders, and spoke on the importance of college and sports in their lives.
The following week, the Renegades travelled south to San Luis Obispo for Cuesta's Annual Tournament. After losing their first two matchups to San Diego Mesa in early September, the Renegades got revenge with a 13-12 victory over Mesa to open tournament play. Later, on Day 1, the Renegades took care of Ventura College 16-13. Day 2 in SLO, Ohlone faced off against two of the State's top teams in Mt. San Antonio and Cuesta College, dropping both games 15-7 and 17-7, respectively. Ohlone returned to the Bay Area for Conference play, beating Las Positas 17-5 and losing a close game to Merced, the Coast Conference's top seed, 12-10.
Sophomore, Aiden McBride leads the team in goals scored (61).

Renegades qualified for CCCAA NorCal Regionals for 2nd consecutive season.
Freshman, Matthew Mendez is second on the team in Points Scored (Goals + Assists) with 82.
The Renegades will begin Postseason competition November 8th & 9th, when they head to Las Positas College, host of the Coast Conference Championship Tournament. The Renegades will open play as the #3 seed, at 11:40 AM, against #1 seed Merced College.
Following the Coast Conference Championship Tournament, Ohlone will head to American River College, host of the CCCAA Regional Playoffs on November 15th & 16th.
